The cherry is a typical spring fruit with its brilliant colour. Our team selects the best that our land produces, for this reason we always offer cherries with the distinctive flavour that makes them one of the most tasty and popular fruits. 



Ferrovia 

This popular cherry has a dark red skin. The fruit is big, about 8-10 gr, the flesh is clear, firm and juicy. This is the most cultivated variety in Puglia, above all to the south-east of Bari, thanks to its excellent flavour, good appearance and good storage capacity.

Bigarreau

The fruit is deep red, vermilion-black when ripe, the drupe is medium to large sized with firm, juicy and sweet flesh. it hasn’t a good storage capacity.

Giorgia 

A bright red cherry with firm and pleasant flesh. The fruit is about 9-10 gr with a firm flesh.

NUTRITIONAL AND ORGANOLEPTIC PROPERTIES  

Cherries are beautiful, tasty, dietetic and rich in virtues. The cherry is famous also thanks to its beneficial properties: cherries contain significant levels of antioxidants and have also potent anti-inflammatory benefits. This fruit contains vitamins A, B and C, mineral salts. This fruit also lowers cholesterol levels.

STORAGE 

In the refrigerator cherries keep their flavour and their beneficial properties. Store cherries unwashed and wash them just before eating.
